Daphne labored for an hour an a half for her first baby. Vern was born head first, but feet folded back.

Here comes Vern!

Good momma Daphne, cleaning up Verne. He was a little stunned from the long birth. It took him about 20 minutes to get up on his feet.

He rested for a while. During that time, Daphne was laboring with her next baby!

This was Genevieve, a petite little sister to Vern. This spunky girl was on her feet very quickly. Both babies nursed on their own easily. Daphne tended to them very well.

Vern (front) and Genevieve (rear), about 12 hours old! Spunky and curious and SO adorable!
