Llamas

In early 2008, we assisted in helping some llamas in a rescue situation nearby. We fostered them for Southeast Llama Rescue. In fact, they were the first to move in to our new house due to their need for help.

We shared their world for about 7 months, then they have moved to a new permanent farm (without goats to annoy them!)

There are many more llamas that need good homes

HERE is a video of them
pronging across the pasture. Pronging is a four-legged springing gait in llamas as well as gazelles and antelopes. When you watch them do it, you can't help but smile!
